As I drove back to Pocatello from Idaho Falls after turning in my badge and being truly retired, I could see a LOT of smoke in the air. As I got closer I could see that it was right downtown, possibly in the train yard. When I got downtown It turned out to be in the Monarch Building, built in 1909 and the first building in downtown to have running water. Everything inside the building was a complete loss, however the building itself may be salvagable.
