When I got up this morning, I found this note on the kitchen table. I definitely made me laugh. I knew that Nina was going to the county jail this morning to pick up some personal items for a woman who had been transferred from county jail to the women’s prison. Nina did indeed get out soon … she was home by 8:45 a.m.
This afternoon we went over to Soda Springs to spend some time with mother and dad. Mother’s TV quite working a few weeks ago, and they bought a new one on a hurry-up trip to Salt Lake City. Only problem was, the TV they bought didn’t have an earphone jack, so mother couldn’t hear the TV anymore. She needs to plug in her Bose noise-cancelling headset into the earphone jack on the TV in order to hear what is showing on the TV. Also, due to some wiring changes that had been made, she wasn’t getting a signal to her TV in the living room anymore. I couldn’t convince her to buy a new one and sell the other one. Since it was her mistake, she was going to live with it. So, I bought a new one and we swapped it out today. The new TV has a headphone jack:
Note the earphone cable on the right side of the TV. We brought the old-new TV home with us and will probably use it to swap out for the 16-year-old TV in our family room, which is just about on its last legs. Mother is quite ecstatic with the new TV and her ability to now hear the TV.
