We seem to have hardly had a fall! Or at least, it must have happened while we were somewhere else. Yesterday’s snow is just about gone here at the house, but the hills still have a pretty good covering. The scrub oak is still showing a fair amount of red color even in the midst of the snow. It’s a beautiful day outside.
I learned today that my first cousin once removed Rulon Dean Burton died last Friday evening. He had been in failing health for a few years. His funeral will be on Wednesday with burial in the Cleveland Cemetery. He was seventy-three.
That is a beautiful picture! I’m still holding out hope for a return to Fall.
