Now that Main Street has been closed and turned over to the Church, the new park has been adorned with beautiful lights around the reflecting pool and a lovely porcelain Nativity scene in the middle of the reflecting pool. The floating lights in the pool added dramatically to the scene.

Another angle on the pool would have put the Salt Lake Temple in the background. Therefore, that was by far the most popular place for people to take pictures. After waiting quite some time to get a picture and no end of people in sight, I decided this view was sufficient to capture the ambience of the moment.
