Sharing Popcorn

Sharing Popcorn

Sunday, August 9, 2009 was the final Concert in the Park for this year. We enjoy the concerts a lot and the Pocatello Municipal Band puts on a great show. This little girl is (I think) the great-granddaughter of the conductor, Joe Wilson. The family sat to the left of us during the concert.

Nina had microwaved some popcorn for us to have during the concert. The girl saw the popcorn and came over to get some. I’d open my bag and she’d get a handful (two or three kernals) in each hand and go play for a bit and eat the popcorn (what she didn’t drop, anyway). Then she’d come back for more. She discovered that Nina had some popcorn as well. With that new knowledge, she’d get some popcorn in her left hand from my bag and some for her right hand out of Nina’s bag.

She is just the cutest little girl with a delightful smile. We were quite happy to share our popcorn with her.
