This picture was taken in Amish country last summer while we were out visiting Dawnmarie and her family in Pennsylvania. The horses are pulling the hay wagon which is pulling the mechanism that picks up the hay from the field and lifts it up onto the hay wagon. The guy on top is both driving the horses and pitching the hay from the back of the wagon to the front. It’s quite the operation, but seemed to be working for him.
