Over the years Nina hasn’t really gotten a lot of Easter Baskets. I decided this year that she should definitely have one. The problem was, what to put in it? She’s working hard a losing weight so candy would not be a great idea.
After some thought, I decided that I’d get a flowering plant, put it in an Easter basket, and give that. At the store, I also saw this very cute plushy dog and bought that as well. All of that went into her car along with a gel flower on the window.
I told her on Sunday morning that she had a basket to find. She did some looking around the house, but not too much. After the morning session of LDS General Conference, we loaded up the dinner stuff to take to mother’s for dinner and she found the basket in the front seat of the car.
Earlier she had told me that I could eat the candy … but, there wasn’t any candy, unless you classify the flower as eye candy!
