Since I’m on the Airport Commission, I decided to start attending the planning meetings for the Airport Appreciation Day that’ll be held at the Pocatello Airport on June 26th. This looks to be a pretty good event with a lot of airplanes coming in to be put on display. The fellow heading up the planning was a Vice President at AMI Semiconductor while I was there (and got left behind with the company was sold like I was). He’s a sharp guy, an excellent planner, and a very good organizer. I’m really looking forward to the day and the event.
